The Champion’s Companion 15
Introduction:
Marcos makes the journey and arrives at the only place that could produce a prince like Monto…
I would like to know, if you do Jack/Jill off that the stories help. If, as you are enjoying yourself, you peal another layer of the dark onion of desire in the back of your mind, and think to yourself “wow, if only they….”.
Leave a comment. You’re likely not alone. Honestly, know you’re not alone even if you are one percent, there are millions of us. So just know even the comments are free. if you want to PM ideas, questions, or random non related stuff. BTW this is now just over half of what was written, editing is slow…
The idea may not be in every segment, but you will certainly be more likely see your fetish if you request it. I write because I haven’t seen enough stories they way I like.
There will be a three part story (called ‘Sweat’, ‘Spit’, and ‘Tears’) about the Spear Mistresses and their rather single minded efforts to purge the elves. you haven’t seen the last of them.
Also (restitution of love) is being edited too. It’ll be the sequel for dissolution of love.
Look for series ‘Victorious’ it’s a present day work, and more involved. (I hope) It fell out of my head, it works, and I enjoy it. I hope we can share.
So please enjoy and comment freely.
Marcos figured that after slightly more than two weeks of travel out of Pyressel they would arrive in Sellis. For several days, they were able to find conveniently placed inns. The land around them slowly opened up as the forest gave way to the lowlands of grassy clearings and meadows. Marcos was pleased with their efficient travels.
The money they used attracted attention. People at inns and stables would furtively look around after taking it and secreting it away. Marcos rapidly noticed how they coveted the gold or silver coins. He thought of how if the guild controlled the markets then this money would be quickly turned over to them and disappear. It seemed that the people were stockpiling what they could on their own. A common trait in centralized systems, they lose track of the small transactions. No system is good enough to work against the collective.
Marcos was not sure if this meant they wanted to leave the area and needed the money, or if the individuals meant to keep all the outside money for themselves, or if they had a black market that used it. He couldnât seem to ask anyone what they valued the money for until the fifth night traveling. The group went up stairs after dinner and Marcos hung around to get answers.
He had tipped a waitress for a drink and flipped a coin at her from across the table. Men from across the serving area pounced on her and he watched while deep in thought as the barkeeper and other waitresses defended the woman from being robbed. After things calmed down, he was able to walk up to the front of the inn and have a word with the innkeeper.
âWhatâs the problem with money around here?â He asked furtively.
âExcuse me sir?â The skinny innkeeper asked. Marcos noted later that he was uncharacteristically thin for his profession.
âThe money. Why did everyone get so excited over it just now?â Marcos turned and looked at him full on.
âIt can be used in more places then a guild voucher, and itâs real. Most shop owners and merchants have left and only traveling traders come in rarely. When they do come into town, they only work or sell stuff for real money.â The innkeeper shrugged. âThat money buys a lot of stuff the guild doesnât sell.â
âThank you.â Marcos said slipping out several coins and stepping back. He watched the innkeeper quickly snatch away the money like all the others. He moved up to his room with the same thoughtful expression heâd been wearing a lot lately.
âWell, hello.â Kaarthen said from the tub as Marcos entered his room. Her white hair was unbraided and flowed behind her. Mara was attending her long pale legs and was naked to keep her other clothes dry.
âThis town is starved like all the others. Did you know caravans come into town to sell them basic services?â Marcos said walking past them to a sofa they moved away from the fireplace for the tub. He pulled out his swords and laid them against the couch.
âLike what?â Kaarthen asked.
âTailors, shopkeepers, and shoe makers I suppose. They almost had a riot down stairs when I tipped the waitress.â Marcos said suddenly getting an idea.
âA riot huh?â Kaarthen mused. âAn outbreak of chaos for money?â
âYes Kaarthen, that would be perfect.â His mind envisioned riots breaking out all over the countryside once they got to Sellis.
Marcos bent to kiss her. âWhâŠWhat?â Kaarthen said looking at him confused and turned in the tub to watch him closer. âHmm, you seem happy. Have you come to a solution about the complex economic debacle looming ahead of us?â
âPerhaps.â Marcos said and retreated to the sofa.
Moments later, Kaarthen stood and the water glistened off her body as she towered over the room. Her statuesque for was heavily muscled and only slightly padded. Her heavy pendulous breasts swung and swayed flicking drops back into the tub. Standing in the small tub, she seemed to dwarf everything around her. Mara looked like a pixie hopping on her toes trying to dry her Mistress.
âI think youâve grown taller Kaarthen. Tell me, how do you think we could get into the inner circle of the nobles and rub shoulders with royalty?â Marcos mused. He started to distract her by undressing as she thought about it.
âUmm money? They like money right?â Kaarthen said not understanding what he wanted her to know. Mara was slowly and softly rubbing her dry with the towel. Maraâs large breasts also pressed against her as she slid around her.
âRight, but that would be handled by clerks and pursers. How would we get close?â He said watching Kaarthen bend over for her hair to be wrapped.
âSneak into a party or hold one of our own?â Kaarthen said unsure if Menthino held enough sway to have the upper class of Sellis attend.
âPerhaps the first one would be best. Menthino has a small embassy in Sellis, we still treat them like a city.â Marcos noted sitting naked on the couch idly stroking his hardening cock.
Everything was interrupted by a knock at the door. Marcos and the two women paused staring at the door surprised.
âItâs Ein and the Prince.â Kaarthen said quietly. Marcos quietly got up and went to unlock the door.
âEnter.â Marcos said opening it.
He was still naked, and Kaarthen and Mara were also in states of undress.
âI uhâŠâ Started the prince, as he looked around the room shocked. Ein simply looked on bemused at the affairs of the room. Mara and Kaarthen defiantly remained uncovered. The two women rubbed oils on Kaarthenâs body as she sat in the couch Marcos left. Kaarthen spread her legs carelessly as Mara attended her inner thighs and abdomen.
âWell?â Marcos said testily with a hand on his hip. âDo you need a bedtime? What do you want?â
âIâŠI wanted to knowâŠWhat I was to do in Sellis.â The prince answered swiveling his head about the room. Mara and Kaarthen continued to ignore him as they continued with the massage.
âWeâll be crossing the border in a few more days. Youâll likely stay in the Embassy. If I find out itâs possible, or if they request it, youâll go back to your family. I donât think they can be visible trying to kill you, and they certainly canât let it look like some outside group was responsible. Youâll have to find out whatâs going on once youâre back in town all by yourself.â Marcos said holding the door. âI will be out on my own, and finding information about the guild and how it relates to your family. Menthino has very little contact in Sellis, but that is going to change. In fact, weâll have a party for you when we get there.â
âOh uh that sounds wonderful. IâŠUm that was bothering me for a while. I was just a little worried⊠please excuse me.â The prince said spinning away out the door.
Marcos closed the door behind him and turned to Kaarthen and Mara who were both shiny with oil. âLetâs get to bed.â
They moved over and got onto the bed. Marcos lay beneath Kaarthen and Mara. Kaarthen straddled him and leaned forward pushing her breasts to his face.
Mara gobbled his cock behind her making throaty wet noises and slurps.
âYou canât make me.â Marcos said childishly turning his head to refuse her.
âNo, no, no, babyâs gotta drink.â Kaarthen said playing along and smearing herself along his face. She could feel Mara behind her sucking him in full strokes as Marcos came to complete hardness.
âBaby likes mommy milk,â Kaarthen said leaning in further and pushing a breast to him while holding his head still. Finally, he took her right nipple in his mouth and popped her nipple out with a strong suck. âThere we go, suckle it slowly.â The intense acute pleasure seemed to shoot up her breast down her arm and across her chest. He took her other nipple and squeezed it in to his mouth also. The pleasures made her lean in and threaten to smother him before she settled back almost sitting on Maraâs head. Mara sensed her Mistressâ need and moved away and teased her with Marcosâ throbbing cock. She wagged it around while Kaarthen tried to sit back upon him.
Mara finally lined him up for her as she sucked on his balls one at a time. Kaarthen sank back onto him and came instantly as he penetrated her. She felt her orgasm was intensified and extended by Marcosâ sucking. For a brief eternity, she was completely lost in the pleasure of Marcos on her and in her.
Like breaking the surface after a deep dive they both exploded with a exhale as Marcos paused for a breath and Kaarthen was released from the blizzard of pleasure. âWow I always enjoy that so much.â Kaarthen said as she petted Marcos. He looked so much like a baby with both eyeâs closed sucking contently.
She moved her hips slowly building intensity to bring him off again. Behind her, Mara licked her asshole and fondled Marcosâ balls. The cool softness of her breasts on her ass comforted Kaarthen as she continued to rock steadily. After only a few moments Marcos came. Kaarthen was quite pleased as she felt his body tense and his cock pulse within her.
She slept that night in the same position straddling Marcos after Mara had finished and curled next to them.
By morning, her pussy was slightly sore but very ready for another quick fuck. With more energy, she rode Marcos, as he lay awake under her. His hard cock pushed deep into her slick wetness, and small orgasms popped through her as she marched into the warm embrace of a mind-numbing climax.
Spent, she sagged over him mindlessly kissing and licking his face in her afterglow. Marcos rolled her over as she gazed up stupidly at him as he pounded down into her with deep long strokes. Her legs were brought up over her head as he took her savagely plunging his full ten inches as deep as he wanted into her.
In her swirling haze of pleasure she could feel Maraâs mind in hers reveling and sharing the pleasure she felt along with the sight of them in full lust craze. Marcos shifted into deeper short stokes as his cock swelled within her. Finally, he came gasping as he felt his balls truly empty into her, and then dropped as his tiredness crept up on him.
After a quick moment of rest, they left the bed and dressed for the continued trip to Sellis.
Four days later, the group found itself on the open grass fields of the valley surrounding Sellis. The field was more than a hundred square miles of an oval shaped clearing. Mountains ringed the valley on three sides in a C-shape. On the west side, in the gap of the mountains, Sellis stood on a hill that many thousands of years ago was an island. Behind it, and further west, was a canal leading to a harbor.
Kaarthen remembered her visit to the map room in Marcosâ tower in Mavvus. From above the fields look like an emerald with wandering facet lines of yellow. She remembered how the many roads crisscrossed the valley like animal paths near a water hole.
As they rode up the dirt road, they came upon tall narrow towns. Usually, they were only a block or two wide and half a dozen long. The buildings were tall five to eight story stone structures. They seemed to keep a majority of their residents off the streets. In between buildings, there were arching stone and rope bridges, people looked down at them as they crossed and went about their business. Below them on the streets, the ground was littered with dropped items, food, and what Kaarthen hoped wasnât human waste. Men in work gangs toiled nearby in short wide alleys loading items onto pallets that were pulled up into buildings by rope pulleys.
The towns seemed like towers that dotted the landscape. She realized they had few, if any ground entrances into the buildings. The buildings must have doubled as excellent protection for the women and children inside the event of a raid of bandits.
In the fields, surrounding them, scattered herds of horses were grazing and running free. Sheep and cattle herds were tended by shepherds on horse back wearing wide sunhats.
The trip had grown quiet as the group made its way through the destination they traveled so far for. Finally the closed in on the city in the distance.
Sellis sat on a remote hill. Surrounded by flat grasslands, the hill spiked up like a triangular tooth. If Kaarthen hadnât known the city was built on an island she would have considered it one of Marcosâ crown jewels of security. Running roughly around the bottom of the hill was a high thick sea wall. Towers studded the wall at points, and had blue tiled cone roofs. Behind the wall, several tall narrow buildings stood in a chaotic jumble. Kaarthen realized a great many people forced themselves to live in the small spaces. Others had worked hard so that as many as possible fit in to the compact spaces. At the top of the urbanized hill, a rectangular palace stood. Kaarthen couldnât see much if any security structures and she was instantly perplexed by the seeming aloofness of the elegant spires of the structure.
Despite being made of stone, the structure seemed fragile. Bell towers with large bronze bells dangling from semicircle holes stood around the edges of the building and a tall glass structure stood in the center. Below the towers and other slender spires, the bulk of the building sat under a blue and purple tiled roof. It had semi circle cuts in the walls for balconies and sunrooms.
âThere it is, the great city of Sellis!â The prince exclaimed proudly. He seemed happy for the first time Kaarthen saw him.
âThe whole city could fit within the Citadelâs walls.â Ein noted. She wasnât exaggerating by much.
âThe city is a feat of engineering. Mavvus doesnât have as many tall buildings as the city with its fabled apartments.â The prince snapped.
âLeethon was still much larger.â Ein shot back.
âAnyway,â Marcos said trying to end the conversation. âWe need to go through and stop on the eastside to find the apartments owned by Menthino.â
âYes, I know exactly where that quarter is. All the ambassadors stay there. Itâs a common place for royalty to meet with visitors and heads of state. It is also quite close to the Palace.â The prince said moving closer to talk to Marcos. âMenthino has a building on a block with Osmuun and Dar Delis I believe.â
âLead the way prince. Will we have any trouble getting you into the city?â Marcos asked not really concerned if anything actually happened to him now.
âNo. The nobles know me on sight, but not too many of the commoners have seen me before. None but my maids or servants could recognize me. I also donât think anyone brought word ahead of us of my arrival since few saw, or spoke to us along the way.â Prince Carthin assessed.
âPlenty of people saw us, but they usually passed over us to look at them.â Marcos mused and gestured to the women.
They finally closed in on the city as the sun started to set. Marcos was glad since the towns they passed didnât seem to be open to travelers or even have obvious stables. Sellis was big on free ranging their animals but the group hadnât branded their horses.
As they approached the gate, they inched forward in dense traffic with carts of wool, chickens, furniture, straw, and building sand. The guards let them through quickly after checking Marcosâ letter of diplomacy. Marcos was pleased the men couldnât read since he gave them the wrong paper. Obviously, they were simply impressed by the elegant script and the embossed seal.
Within the city, the streets were narrow dark valleys untouched by the setting sun. Overhead the buildings loomed and seemed to close in. The street remained packed in almost any direction. The prince led them up further into the city and despite the widening of the streets slightly, the traffic didnât slow or cease. People walking and carts all around them inched slowly up and down the streets.
Finally, the prince guided the weary group off the street and under an overhang into a dark room at the base of a building.
âThis should be it.â He said and swung down off the horse. Marcos dismounted and removed his swords while the others followed suit looking around in the vacant room. Straw and stacked barrels and crates covered the floor. The prince found a door and a pull cord for service.
After a moment, movement was heard and a servant opened the door to see them.
âPlease come in.â The servant quietly requested and stepped back to allow the six through the door and up a short flight of stairs. At the top Kaarthen was shocked to find herself in yet another street for the block of buildings. The elegant elevated common area had people casually strolling among fountains and potted plants. Elegant columns held up a high roof of the building they stood under. The floor was polished marble, with short steps down onto uncovered walkways that went in an orderly fashion to the other buildings across and in front of them.
âPlease, take us to the Ambassador of Menthino.â Marcos beckoned the servant.
âOf course sir, and who shall I announce?â The servant asked.
Marcos paused for a moment before responding. âPrince Carthin of Sellis, The Kingâs First Knight, and a high priestess of our Goddess.â Marcos said slowly. He presented the papers he had made up for them. In the princeâs case, it was a delicate forgery. Later, when presented at the court or the floor of the senate he would have to make sure the papers pass scrutiny.
The servant looked at them each in turn and led them to the walkways and upstairs to the ambassadorâs quarters.
After a furtive knock, the servant slipped in leaving them outside. After a few moments, the Ambassador came in with laughter in his eyes.
He was a balding round man. He wore expensive silk robe of a tan or a peach color. Not exactly fat his robes showed an obvious bulge of a belly and his cheeks were ruddy from drink.
âGreetings Sir and Welcome! I am the diplomatic officer in Sellis, Mallio Pennion.â He said with a flourished bow. âI received word on you imminent arrival. The Queen sends her compliments and an officer from Pessilberg.â
He motioned them into the building. The interior had an elegant residential feel that was for putting diplomats and citizens at ease. Brown leather and wood furniture complemented the paneled walls and grey stone floor. In the lounge, the Ambassador remained standing and picked up a short stemmed glass of whisky from a waiting end table.
âMy servants were curious if that was a real seal. Whomever did it could make good money in this town selling seals.â He said handing back the documents.
âThank you, one of my women did it free hand using molded clay for the wax seal. The rest as I understand is just lots of calligraphy and an orange, blue, and brown ribbon.â Marcos said unable to hide his pride. It was good information to know he wouldnât have problems. âNobody can tell?â
Most diplomatic missions double as spy houses in the eventual hopes that subterfuge and misinformation can save lives back home. Menthino, like the Sisterhood, and several other cities and states, pushes for every possible advantage in foreign courts.
âLikely nobody would know, most times the senate or the Guild make the rules lately. Royal decrees that we get our hands on arenât sealed like that, or even signed.â The ambassador said shrugging. âHow about I get you some rooms ready? I have an open invitation to present you in the senate. If you would like we can go in tomorrow.â
âThat sounds excellent.â Marcos said turning.
Ambassador Pennion motioned with his drink for a servant. âGood, but do stay for a moment I have a man sent a long way here for you.â He said and motioned with his other hand for another servant who sped off in another direction. The women, and Prince Carthin, followed the first servant up the stairs and away to get settled in.
âAh, letâs sit.â Said the ambassador sinking into a chair.
Marcos was aware how the man seemed to quietly take charge of the room and so far directed everything. He had no intention of getting in a pissing contest or killing this seemingly useful agent of the Crown.
âThank you but I will have to see him in private. Tomorrow we will have much to discuss.â Marcos said remaining standing.
âSounds quite reasonable.â The ambassador said slightly dejected.
Marcos reasoned that drunk or not the man was a shrewd and skillful actor. Likely the ideal person to be left here as Menthino dealt with Sellis.
âTell me how long have you been here?â Marcos asked, knowing the man had been here thirteen years and was married twice to merchantâs daughters of a foreign then a local family.
âLittle more than a decade, but Iâll never get tired of working here. I trained up in Munklin for years with those crazy barbarians, but Sellis is crazy in its own special ways.â Ambassador Pennion said candidly.
Marcos nodded. âIâm sure you have evacuation routes planned in case we need to leave quickly?â
âYes, actually itâs a badly kept secret how easy it is to get out of the city.â The ambassador replied chuckling.
Marcos snorted. âWhat the sewers? Weâve heard of that even in Mavvus. Please find a more creative way. I donât want assassins all over the prince if he needs to flee. He may still be useful.â Marcos instructed.
A large wide muscular man was shown in by a servant as the two spoke. The man had light hair and grey eyes. He was suntanned and stood at six feet. He wore knee high leather boots with dark pants tucked in and a red shirt under a leather jacket.
âAh, this would be the man, let me leave you in privacy.â The ambassador said hopping up to take his leave.
After a moment, the man took the ambassadorâs seat. He sat still quietly while studying Marcos with a blank face.
âSo what message do you have for me?â Marcos asked as he placed a knee on the seat across from him. His swords kept him from enjoying plush seats sometimes.
âI am captain of a sixty man detachment of our heavy assault infantry sent into Sellisâ port to assist you. I am told to report and work in whatever way you see fit.â The man said in an understated low voice.
âThank you I will likely need you to stay here. Tomorrow bring two of your best men to make a show of guarding the prince.â Marcos said. He had a growing plan in his head that was starting to take shape. âIs⊠Colonel Vieght onboard?â he asked with hope and dread.
âYes sir, He was curious what could draw you out. He is at the harbor with the men.â
Long ago, the colonel and five other men had been survivors of a vampire attack. Of the six, only two kept from going insane after the nightmare of their capture. The men had spiraled into various self-destructive behaviors and eventually died taking a great many human and vampire lives with them. The colonel understood and shared Marcosâ burning hatred of vampires because of what he became. Of the four who went crazy he had killed one himself to protect a town. The colonel and the other man who had become a general lived on by throwing themselves into their work and defending Menthino. Both had become Marcosâ trusted hands in times of crisis and chaos.
Despite their sacrifice, neither could ever enter Marcosâ protected city of Mavvus again. They instead had roving warrants of inspection to travel where they wished doing what needed to be done. Colonel Vieght, like Marcos, was an excellent light infantryman. He was skilled as a ranger, an assassin, or as a scout. He trained the heavily armored assault infantrymen based in Pessilberg on the assassinâs skills of stalking, urban ambushes, and covert operations. The arts were only useful for the Palace guards since the heavy assault was never used in ambushes. Nevertheless, the large men learned priceless lessons and became swift on their feet and comfortable out of their armor shells.
âGood, that will be all. Have the two men in here by tomorrow night.â Marcos said and rose spinning to the door. Behind him, the captain silently crept off.
âIf youâve heard enough, I would like to be shown to my room.â Marcos said to the figure he knew to be behind him at the doorway.
âAh, yes Milord.â Came a squeaky reply from a young maid. She peaked around and Marcos was surprised by her young age. She was short, light brown haired, and lightly tanned. Her hair was pig tailed and her wide eyes seemed wet and innocent. âMy apologies Milord, I only stayed to show you to your room after the meeting.â
âVery well lead on woman.â Marcos said dismissively.
His thoughts centered on the girl and resolved to find out if she was a spy for the ambassador or someone outside. As he walked to the room, he guessed she was only eighteen but certainly seemed younger. His eyes didnât see any hidden weapons in obvious places, but his women in the tower didnât carry one blade either and they were considerably more lethal than anyone could ever guess.
âMiss, have you been with the house long?â Marcos asked as they went up the stairs. He still watched her intensely and readied his left arm to strike.
âAh no, only within this year milord.â The maid replied.
âYou must learn not to stand too close to talking people in this place, it is more than rude.â Marcos said warningly.
âYes Milord I understand I will do that of course,â She said turning her head. âThis is your room sir, please enjoy your stay with us.â
Marcos walked in before realizing he hadnât asked if she were a local. Her accent was flat and he didnât hear any western influence.
Inside his room, Kaarthen sat in a chair facing the door and seemed to be polishing Lourndai idly and seemed on edge. Behind her, Mara had the dozens of knives she carried laid out around her on the bed. Both women were quietly tense and watchful.
âHave you noticed anything?â Marcos asked but knew without being told.
âThe first room they gave us had an open listening panel in it. I didnât find anything in here but Iâm not able to relax anymore. Ein and Rinis have barricaded the prince in a room across from us. They didnât search the room yet so they are staying quiet and acting normal.â Kaarthen reported. âIf we could get better service in this city at an inn I would suggest leaving, but they seem weird about foreigners here.â
âWho was foreigner?â Marcos asked interested. In most diplomatic missions, a majority of the staff were natives.
âIt seems that the servants and the maids here are though they hide it well.â Kaarthen replied. âIâm able to notice those things since most people Iâm around are strange and exotic to me.â She fibbed.
The goddess within her told her exactly what the people surrounding her were thinking. The men and women in this place were almost all here stealing and selling information. Marcos wasnât yet supposed to understand her abilities or the fact that the goddess took residence within her mind, but he could still share the knowledge she gained.
âInteresting, Mara I want you to keep an eye on a young maid about your height but very young looking. If you think her snooping, kill her immediately. Kaarthen help her out if you notice any others, I donât like people seeing whatâs going on.â Marcos ordered.
He crossed the room and lay across the couch on Kaarthen’s left with his feet to the door. No one felt like fucking in the tense situation they were in. They knew they were invulnerable but they didnât want to advertise.
Several hours later, as the creaks around them settled, they heard a muffled scuffle from the next room. Kaarthen was the first out the door followed by Marcos. Across the hall, the prince sat against the bedâs headboard tied by his wrist.
Rinis at on the foot of the bed with two stilettos in her right hand. Ein stood over the body of a man in a black Safi leather body suit. She gripped twin daggers loosely in either hand as she looked into his dead dark eyes. Vertical slashes exposed two steel plates that covered his upper chest. A small horizontal slit between the plates showed where Ein had made it into the manâs heart.
The man seemed short and muscular and had dark spiky short hair that seemed greased or sweaty. He still clutched a long straight single edge dagger of black steel in his right hand. The arm that held it was slashed repeatedly along the inside making it useless before the man died. Marcos assessed that despite her size she cut through the Safi fairly easily with numerous critical cuts.
Marcos turned from the body. âFirst, Ein are you okay?â
âYes, Master. I was moving too fast to be scared. At first, I couldnât cut him and I got frantic. After thatâŠHe died.â She said flatly staring at the body in virgin wonder. She just learned what all the training did to a living breathing target. It was a good lesson but staring would lead to nightmares or hesitation.
âDonât look at him anymore go to our bedroom.â Marcos snapped then paused. He didnât want to make this experience negative for her. He hugged her quickly before pulling back to look at her. âHold on a second, you did well Ein. You cut past the Safi with what looks like a dozen strikes. Exactly as trained, you destroyed his ability to fight and pressed in quickly. I donât care that he wonât answer any questions, he might have escaped. It seems you adapted and got past the hard armor also.â Marcos said noting the slashes that dented steel as he squatted down and checked for pockets. Kaarthen pushed her breast milk on everyone and it was turning these women into monsters, him too for that matter.
âDonât feel pity for those like this who attack you. You will kill more, and sometimes they may not be as worthy. Some people canât shake the memory of the faces and it haunts them for what they did, and who they left behind. Youâll live too long to be stuck in that nightmare so I want you to leave and know that this man lived by the blade and he just died by it.â Marcos continued and started rolling the body in a carpet.
Marcos easily found the opened wall panel the assassin entered from that led out to a ledge outside. Marcos dumped the body out from whence it came. This was supposed to be his diplomatic mission and yet they got the most compromised rooms. That little fuck up nearly scrubbed his mission and would have caused a diplomatic and political nightmare. Already this city was stinking of treason, and subversion.
The night past uneventfully after the scuffle and the group was down early for breakfast. Everyone was alert but their expressions and appearance belied the fact that none had any meaningful sleep the night before. They sat quietly in the dining room until a surprised butler came in still wearing bedclothes.
âI apologize for the late breakfast, the schedule kept by the ambassador is later than perhaps what you must be used to. Perhaps, I could serve tea in the lounge downstairs until our cooks arrive.â The man said tiredly.
Grumbling the group went downstairs. The butler came down dressed in livery with tea and hard crackers for them. Marcos mixed brandy into his drink and Kaarthen, Mara, and Ein passed the bottle around too.
By mid morning the group was tensed, irritated, buzzed, and dangerously close to eating anything that stopped in front of them long enough.
âAh good morning! Can I have breakfast with you all?â Said the ambassador sweeping into the room. He was wearing a light green robe that disgusted Marcos. It was fresh looking, but it occurred to him that it was little more than an expensive sleeping robe.
âBreakfast sounds fucking excellent. Will we also have lunch before going to the court?â Marcos snipped.
The cheery ambassador missed the comment but frowned at the empty brandy bottle. âOh no sir weâll be along after lunch. Iâm glad to be in the presence of such beauties. Are they gifts for the crown? Sellis has grown quite dissatisfied with us since the Queen demanded all traded be done in gold standard weight currency.â
Marcos smirked at the comment. The wily Queen was going to bilk them for what she could before she shut down trade completely and starved their asses.
âIâm not here for those discussions.â Marcos responded flatly. He marveled at how overnight he stopped trusting the Crownâs diplomatic officer despite thinking him an excellent speaker and soft styled negotiator less the twenty four hours ago.
The ambassador tried a different tack. âWell they will certainly ask for such fine specimens since in diplomacy all things are related.â
âPerhaps. Ambassador please letâs eat quickly, the prince has a condition.â Marcos gestured and led the way.
âOh? Then I must have the same condition.â He responded rubbing his stomach.
The group sat and dropped all politeness as they gorged. The stress they felt was masked by the excellent food in heaping portions. Marcos found himself watching the ambassador eat trying to see if he missed or spared certain foods.
Starving a target only to poison them was a tactic used in some courts so he couldnât be too careful. Despite his immortality, swallowing crushed glass would make him wish he could die.
The ambassador spoke after a lull. âWell sir, I see you were up early and waiting shall I have the house open the kitchen earlier for you?â
âYes that would be excellent.â Marcos replied pushing back from the table.
âMy servants should get an idea of how long you will be staying.â The ambassador asked.
Marcos slammed his utensils down loudly. âAmbassador Pennion you are very qualified for this post but for the remainder of my stay I will need to be left in privacy as I execute my orders from the Crown. I cannot answer questions, and I believe in order to maintain secrecy I will need to be treated with discretion.â Marcos stated loudly shamelessly resting his gold gauntlet on the table. âAfter you present me in court I will take over from there. You may continue to serve normally or you can stay here and drink until I leave. But, you may not question or interfere with me or any of my activities.â
The Ambassador blanched at the veiled threats.
âOkay wellâŠâ He waved over and whispered to a servant. âThe horses will take us in a carriage to the senate. The streets will fill up soon, and the senate is just now starting to get to business.â
âExcellent, Iâll try not to start a war while Iâm here.â Marcos lied with a smile.
The carriage ride took them a short distance straight down the street to the Senate building. An old theater was used for the building. Inside Marcos was surprised by the open air chamber. The auditorium was decorated in dark blue and green silk along the walls. The floor of the stage was covered in plush purple carpet, but it did little to hide the original nature of the room.
In the center of the stageâs background, the King of Sellis sat enthroned. He was a light golden brown haired man of thirty who seemed aged with his thick trimmed beard. He wore layers of brown leather trimmed with ermine, and the same color of disgusting green silk that the ambassador wore. The Queenâs seat was empty to his right and several attendants and advisors in expensive silk and satin stood to his left. Marcos had adjusted his robe to look less menacing.
The activities stopped as the old men in the senate spotted the prince among the group. The ambassador waited for the man at arms to announce them after introducing the six.
âHonorable members of the Senate of Sellis present today are The Crown Prince of Sellis, Ambassador Pennion of Menthino, the Kingâs First Knight Panthi of Menthino, and his Companion High Priestess Panthi.â
Kaarthen almost giggled at the use of Marcosâ family name. He hadnât told anyone to do that and it shock him slightly she could see. She figured the ambassador was trying to snub him by causing discord.
The ambassador led Marcos and the prince up to the stage. Kaarthen stayed back watching while her angels looked everything over.
The ambassador with grace and comfort that came with his red cheeks and bloodshot eyes spoke loudly to the crowd. âI am here to present these two gentlemen who traveled into this great city last night.â He said and stepped aside.
Macros moved forward as he addressed the senate in turn. âGreeting senators. I have brought with me the Crown Prince of this city.â He said emphasizing the last word. âHe was useful and properly educated within our royalty for nearly a year. Menthino cannot in this trying time for Sellis rob them of their heir. We are returning him with our compliments and we feel our bond is redeemed through this.â He finished with a bow while the senators tried to understand what he actually said.
One old man simply asked straight out what he wanted to know since the first words in a negotiation were useless anyway.
âMenthino has changed its trade practices and isnât taking equivalent trade to settle accounts. Your Queen has asked for outright purchase of all goods.â
Marcos nodded dispassionately. âYes, we have heard Sellis is not using a based value currency any longer and seems to be losing capital. We will not accept floating value currency. Also we changed our trade to ensure a steady flow of currency for our neighbors.â Marcos lied. He knew the guild was hoarding money despite the impoverishment of the government, and they would all eventually find out that Menthino doesnât usually pay other cities in currency.
The old man kept up. âOur debts can continue to be paid. The economy of this great growing nation is strong and serves its people with some of the best minds.â The old man chanted looking around wildly.
âWhat of the Royalty question?â The king asked from behind him. âOur valuable prince was sent to show our important ties.â
Marcos stepped back to address him. âPerhaps, but he is needed here. We have decided your city is at a crucial moment. Economically it is hemorrhaging vast amounts of capital into a new untested and independent economic consortium. The people in neighboring areas are in dire straights and prone to unrest.â He reported truthfully. âThe prince needs to be here to learn what he canât in Menthino, averting a mess of his own peopleâs making, the precious art of pulling in the support of the people, and opening markets by decentralizing trade. Our assessment says only one small group is making money here, the rest are losing out, or losing opportunities.â
A mumble built into a roar as Marcos gave voice to a something he hoped they knew or at least felt. The old men in senate gestured wildly and it seemed obvious that those from Sellis had to defend their actions and positions with those who sat among them from the other towns.
âThe guild is a national treasure.â The King started but was interrupted by the loud calls.
Marcos noted his stressed expression as he tried to voice himself.
âAt the very least open the guild to currency valued trading.â Marcos shouted bringing in a fresh round of loud haggling.
He stepped forward to the wary king who looked so small in his throne. He bent over him staring into the manâs wide terrified eyes.
âMenthino has decided that if the government is penniless then the ones governing would be the select few guild members. We feel the prince is valueless unless you can take your government back. Frankly, this is a historical moment and I know you have made recent efforts to control the Guild. We feel he can be helpful in the task. Stop them or we will starve them. I will be in town until the situation can be judged.â
The King nodded weakly at his gross violation of space, sovereignty, and breach of protocol. Marcos spun on his heel and left disgusted with the display.
In the outer chamber, he found the Queen and two maidens peaking through a privacy screen at the raucous noise. She was a very light blonde with a slender tanned body and hazel eyes. Her breasts were apple sized and fit her supple frame. Her dress was a cream-colored gown worn off the shoulders that had gold embroidered waves. It clung tight around her form until the knees where it flared out and pooled on the floor. Diaphanous creamy gauze raised off the back of the dress and attached to her wrists creating wings.
Marcos was perplexed at what he was seeing. He didnât understand why she would be in the common area, unguarded, and peaking at a session she was suppose to be presiding over. He paused in thought long enough for the maidens attending the Queen to speak up.
âWhat are you doing in the Queenâs presence?â A black haired young woman challenged. The Queen waved her quiet and flowed to him with arms outstretched.
âHow fortuitous to have met our savior.â She said as she embraced him. She pulled back and pulled at a lock of his hair and studied his face. âI will have a party in your honor on the grounds tonight. Please come and be honored. I understand you serve your Queen well. I would be honored if you championed me during this dreadful time.â She looked up at him for a response but changed her mind and stepped away.
âI shall await you tonight, my knight.â She said quietly before giggling and running off with her retinue.
Marcos was left standing in the hall open mouthed as he tried to remember and decipher what happened. He understood that something not entirely bad happened. He couldnât understand the motivation, or her intent in using him for something. He remembered also that married queens donât have Champions but he dismissed the notion since Menthino and Sellis were worlds apart.
He stood thinking and pondering as ambassador Pennion huffed into the room.
âThis is where you went! This is the private chambers of the royals. You went the wrong way! Come on the others are waiting!â The sweaty official snapped.
Marcos was shocked, it didnât feel he took any missteps. He looked around as he followed the ambassador out. The problem was the rooms all looked the same. The party was an excellent convenient stroke of luck. He didnât trust the apartments at all. He could only figure the Goddess was up to something again.
Back in the carriage on the way back to ambassadorâs apartments, he related the change in schedule.
âThatâs good right? It was your plan?â Kaarthen asked.
Marcos shrugged. âYes but I donât need the queen trying to keep me busy.â
Ambassador Pennion added his thoughts. âRumor has it the two royals are estranged. She was the crown that he married into, but he tries to act like a pureblood.â
âWell he does a shit job of it.â Marcos remarked. âWhy would she call for a Champion now? Why would she name a foreigner to the post? And why me?â Marcos asked out loud.
The prince sat back and spoke sagely. âI think my mother is a clever woman. She knows youâre powerful.â
âWhat are you still doing here?!?â Marcos shouted nearly bolting up out of the seat.
âWhen we left, Prince Monto followed,â Ein explained quietly.
âI donât care. You were presented. You were reunited. Go back and fix your precious city your way.â Marcos said with frustration creeping out.
The Prince pouted. âI donât trust what youâll do, especially now that youâre close to my mother.â
âOh?â Marcos started to get bellicose. âOh? Iâll tell you what Iâll doâŠâ
âGentlemen, Gentlemen, please letâs be civil.â The ambassador cautioned. âTheir party will be in a few hours and weâll be able to settle most of the stress then.â His hand slid over towards Mara.
âPrince, tell me what your clever mother knows about me.â Marcos said after a long quiet moment.
âThe rumor says that the Menthinoâs royalty has an advisor thatâs also an assassin. Apparently, everyone considers him extremely skilled. Rumors go on to state a few, ah, other things. But, generally I think she wants you to get information for her or something.â The prince said finally.
âInteresting.â Marcos mused wondering how much of that information was being acted on.
When the group arrived back at the apartment, the three girls went off with Kaarthen to go clean up and prepare. Prince Monto found himself unguarded for the first time in over a month. They sat and drank the whiskey the ambassador had as they waited.
A servant came in and announced the arrival of the captain and his two guards. The three men joined the others sitting and sipped whiskey as Marcos told them the plan.
Marcos summed it up. âBasically, the prince is on home soil but seeks the safety of this diplomatic mission. At the party, you two will assist in guarding him. If anything happens, get him out, but if someone demands you leave, or claims responsibility for him just make him sign for him and be on your way or enjoy the party.â
âWhat do you expect to happen?â The captain asked.
Marcos noted the prince looked over his glass with somber resignation. âSomeone will try to kill him again.â Marcos said plainly.
After a few glasses, the women came down clean and elegant. The robes had been washed to a new sheen Marcos forgot they had. Kaarthen wore a daring dark blue satin gown that sparkled and matched Rinisâ robe. She also wore Marsselâs silvery bracelets and spider web necklace. Her cleavage was covered by a light blue and black silk scarf that she seemed at a loss of what to do with.
As Marcos stood, he realized they might have drunk too much. The group wound their way back down to their carriage. The ride was again slow and nerve wracking. The space seemed smaller with the three large men.
Finally, the carriage stopped in the front courtyard of the Palace. Marcos could breathe and he hopped out happily and slightly wobbly. The group was escorted into the Palace and up wide marbles stairs with a purple and gold runner. The walls were old yellowed pink sea marble with etched pictures of valiant men doing difficult things in what seemed to be violent cold water. The pink of the stones interior made the display striking with its depth.
At the top of the stairs, an equally wide hall continued straight back. The prince led the way and they found themselves moving closer to music being played.
They were presented and found the large party room almost empty. The King sat in the back, surrounded by a few young pretty women and several aides that Marcos recognized from the senate. In the front, the queen sat speaking quietly with several elegant older women in lounges that made a circle around an open fireplace. Perhaps little more than a dozen people including servants were in the expansive room.
The party was near silent and the atmosphere was stifling. The happy prince ignored the stress and ran to his mother.
âOh baby come here Iâm so glad to see you.â The Queen said standing to hug him. She wore a similar dress to what she wore earlier in a dark forest green with matching sheer fabric wings. Her breasts were nearly exposed and a sheer shawl seemed to be all that held them in.
She eyed Marcos as she petted her sonâs neck. Marcos was disturbed at why she would be so happy to see him.
âHa! The guests of honor are here! Dinner come, letâs eat!â Boomed the inebriated King.
Marcos caught the Queen rolling her eyes. The party moved to a dining room down an unlit hall. The royals entered by opposite doors, but they both sat at the head of the table opposite Marcos and Prince Monto. They couple sat as far away from each other as the large table allowed. The other guests stayed quiet and didnât meet each otherâs eyes as they were seated around the table.
âLord Panthi, you have a long and distinguished career in Menthino how long will you stay?â The Queen asked directing the roomâs eyeâs onto Marcos and his half-eaten soup. He noted she wasnât touching her dish. He also noticed the dark half moons of aureoles coming out over her dress.
âI have to be sure of Sellis path in this critical time. Menthino needs a clearer understanding of what the city is doing. Treaties maybe nullified or need amending depending on the directions of this house, the guild activities, and the economic situation in the region.â Marcos answered coolly.
âI wouldnât call us a city any longer. Our borders stretch south nearly to your borders now.â The boisterous King challenged.
âYou donât actually control those lands. Iâm curious King Diddeon, do the citizens of those lands know your name or bow to you? All you have done is wrecked them economically.â Marcos said disgusted. âIn point of fact it isnât you doing it. The guild drains them, hoards the money, and placates your ambitions by sending a representative to senate to complain. Without tax revenue, youâre reduced to using a legal filing to seize the guilds properties. We canât tell yet if you really control anything, or if they pay you off in favors and fake money. But, we do know that once you canât pay for your army and the Guild picks up the tab, Menthino and everyone else will no longer recognize the crown. But, you will perhaps be a state then.â Marcos deadpanned.
âRidiculous! We own a stake in their holdings. They are based here.â The King sputtered spraying the table.
Marcos waved him off. âIs that all that matters to you? I have a pretty good idea what the future holds and weâve only been here one day.â
A calm voice interjected. âPlease be at ease. The king has worked hard to help the economies grow stronger.â The advisor to the kings left explained.
âAnd is it working?â Marcos asked giving up on eating. âHave any of you been out and seen whatâs happening? Are the numbers you have for everything showing a better picture? Your experiment has failed gentlemen. You need to correct because it wonât work for much longer and Menthino will watch the west starve if it teaches you anything.â
âThe guild has plenty of grain stored.â Another aide countered.
âWill they sell it for gold, or give it to people with the fake paper money? And can you make them do the right thing?â Marcos replied. Inside he was astounded by their fantasy world.
âI think thatâs an excellent point that cuts straight to the heart of the issue. We should control more than a stake of that behemoth. I also like the idea of taxing the guild.â The Queen jumped in.
âSilence! You know nothing!â The King roared. The room stilled after his outburst.
âYouâre selling your crown for paper and you tell her she knows nothing?â Marcos chuckled in the tense room.
âYou canât see it. The vision.â The king gestured.
âWe have an idea and several historical references.â Marcos laughed.
âOf what?â The king asked.
Marcos could see the stubborn stupidity the prince had received from the man. âWell to start, letâs have you pay for something necessary like this meal. Weâll use the utensils as currency. Now only I can cook so I want a knife from everyone who wants to eat or has eaten.â He said tapping the table.
The guests warily disarmed themselves and slid a growing pile of silver down to his end.
âExcellent. Now since I work in your house and I do pay rent I wonât give you nice silver but Iâll give you a carrot from my soup. Feel free to return that for more soup anytime you want.â
âOkay, give me more.â The prince said playing along.
âIâm sorry but the price is a carrot and a fork.â Marcos said and looked around. âIs anyone else hungry?â
âYou only paid us a carrot, thatâs not fair.â An aide cried.
âSad story, perhaps that carrot is useless to anyone but me, unless of course I donât value it either. I set the prices and no one makes food. Now, I can leave this place and youâll get no rent except someone elseâs carrots from me. Everybody out there wants soup. Maybe, I can get them to think they need it. Maybe the next place I go off to wonât charge you too much extra to get what you need. Maybe if you charge me less rent or work it for free Iâll come back, but then youâll have to pay me a spoon to renegotiate.â He mused. âYou see gentlemen youâre being robbed. Taking carrots for coin like fools. Once I have all, or even most of the tableâs silverware what do you think happens next? You think I would listen to a bunch of silly rabbits with fucking carrots to trade?â Marcos nearly shouted. He could feel the brandy getting to him.
âHere.â Marcos tossed out some âguild moneyâ he collected. âTry buying a living with that.â
At that moment, the prime rib came to the table. Marcos was disturbed for a moment from his tirade and felt eyes on him once again. He reached out and stopped Kaarthen as she was about to bite. He looked at the thin grained meat. He used a knife from the pile to cut it and watched the seared uncooked meat pump blood across his plate.
Nonplussed he looked up. âI thought horse meat was special in Sellis.â Marcos said looking around the table and setting his silverware down. âWhen have you all started serving it?â
âWe only serve it to poor guests like you.â The King said smiling as if he made some point.
âIn Menthino we issue proper challenges. I donât even know what this means except you likely killed an expensive horse to make a incomprehensible point.â He said doodling in the blood.
âThis is better, that was a horse Menthino refused to buy.â
Marcos cocked his head at him further confused. âWe didnât have to buy it. You also didnât âsaveâ this horse anyway it would seem.â
The king picked up his mug. âYou easterners donât understand.â
âNo, we just get to the point and issue a challenge you crown wearing imbecile.â Marcos hissed.
âFuck you!â The King bellowed and stood. The table stood with him except Marcos, Karthen, and the amused Queen.
âFuck me? No fuck you! Take my challenge you blustering stain on the throne.â Marcos pushed.
âHa! You donât control me. Dinner is over.â The King said and threw his sterling goblet down the table making a mess of shattered crystal. His crowd of sycophants was cowed by their godâs displeasure.
âYouâre a disgusting pig-child and unfit to rule.â Marcos stood and exited. In the dark hallway outside, he rubbed his head and walked back to the lounge.
He was very sure of the foolâs incompetence. Everything about this place seemed insane and far-fetched. He wouldnât even believe his own report on this night if he read it. He didnât think any king would tolerate challenges or loud arguments in his halls. Or assassinations attempts on the heir in their own capital. Just the rumor of that would publicly lower them.
He didnât get far before a soft hand pulled him out of the hall.
âThe Queen wants to see you. But I want to see you first.â A husky voice murmured in his ear.
Marcos could only feel her body and her hand, as she pressed close and rubbed against him. Her hair was a citrus smell similar the style Mara taught to the girls. The touch of her lips surprised him. She kissed what she could of his neckline and shoulders. He figured her to be short and his hands on her waist still brushed her hair.
Marcos let her guide him backwards into a wall abscess and onto a bench in the dark. She turned and released a curtain that came around the benches seating area and shrouded them in dark.
In the darkness, she was only sound, touch, and smell. Her moans in his ear as he rubbed her bud under her dress. The heat he felt after lifting his robe and embracing her. Her weight as she fell into his lap. He kissed her passionately as he felt her grope for his cock under his pants. His hands joined her and he felt the naked heat of her core on his hands then his cock as it flopped up and out. She tried to mount him quickly but his cock made her yelp as she jumped onto it. His girth made him too large for her hole.
Marcos ran into the problem commonly with virgins. Mara was the smallest girl in recent memory that could accommodate him.
She moaned in whimpers as she rose and fell onto him and tried to jam him in.
âOh no, oh goddess heâll never fit any more.â The woman bemoaned.
She said into his chest as she struggled. Her pussy wasnât completely ready but this girl was in too much of a rush or was too inexperienced to take him.
âStop and let me do this.â Marcos ordered and raised her up and spun her around.
He hoped she was standing when he let go and bent her over to dig in. Her pungent sweets were filling the curtained vacuole they occupied. His mouth dug into her mining for her secrets and made her cum.
She squealed surprised. âOh my? What was that? Oh, this is much better than what I could have imagined.â
He pulled her back onto his cock and like magic, it sunk right in. Her tightness was tightest around the entrance. The rest of her pussy seemed a wet soft sac he prodded into. Unsatisfied he pushed harder up into her. For several minutes, he was barely able to stay hard. Finally, he pushed her to the floor, pushed her from her hands and knees to her back, and brought her legs up.
In that position, she was only slightly better and the liquor was burning out of his system in a hurry. She contracted around him and grunted an orgasm. Marcos was glad for the fiction and sad when she released. He pumped harder trying to get a spark of something.
âDid you cum baby? Hurry up and cum we got to go. Mmoh ya hurry up baby.â She pleaded.
In all the history of his fucking, those words shattered his concentration like few others. Marcos grunted loudly and got up. He felt dirty for faking it and felt a frustration at this woman for wasting time and energy. He fumed as he dressed angrily. He wanted to leave the whole crazy useless city in ashes starting with this useless scag and ending inâŠ
âPartyâs down the other way, thanks for the ride.â Said the woman who blew him a kiss, dressed, and flounced off. Marcos followed reluctantly. He felt the drinks of the day already turning his mind into a familiar aching thought collapser of a hang over.
In the light of the party room, he was confronted by the Queenâs maid who requested his audience. Across the room, the King sat holding a woman with a light tan and ass length shiny black hair. She smiled and winked at him and the King followed the gaze and gave him a poisonous look. Ein and Rinis played Queenâs crux on a converted table. Around them, were several interested spectators. Marcos followed the maid while holding onto an internal ball of sexual frustration that threatened to explode.
In the separated room sectioned off by heavy purple curtains over the doorway, he found a sight that reenergized him. In a decorative display that would rival his tower women Kaarthen, Mara, the Queen, and her friends sat upon pillows talking. They were surrounded by trays of fruit and attended by her maidens.
âHello Lord Panthi, please sit with us.â The Queen called reaching for him. She brought him down to sit as the women around him adjusted to sit up and conveniently formed a circle. âI am so glad you are here.â Said the Queen calling the impromptu meeting to order. âI feel we have much to discuss and we think your knowledge and judgment could help us. Sellis is in a critical time and place.â
A slight tug on his left distracted him, as he looked down and saw Maraâs little fingers pulling long strands of black hair from his gauntlet.
âYour insight into our countryâs problems is illuminating and exhilarating. We would like to hear what we could work on together and fix.â The Queen gushed. He knew that some screwball plot was going to come out of this. She was doing the polite thing and buttering him up for the inevitable request.
Out of the corner of his eye, he watched Mara sniff the hair before tasting it. She put the strands in her little wet mouth and chewed lightly. Her wide pale blue eyes seemed to record the event as a wondrous experience. Watching her gulp it down seemed to click with all the weirdness of the last day.
âI really need to get the hell out of here.â Marcos thought while watching his fuckpet eat hair.
I hope people enjoy this. People who post these stories are looking for many things. I just enjoy comments, and knowing people enjoy the story.
